Wren Nesting In Chair

by Barry
(Ararat, NC. USA)

The wren family built a nest in a folding chair on my carport.

When the chair is in folded position it provides cone shaped fabric cups that are ideal for the birds to fashion the nest.

Five eggs are present and the bird is incubating the eggs as I write this story.

It does not seem to mind the human activity and I check to see the bird in the nest and it will look at me and does not seem fearfull what so ever.

We have no other pets(cats, dogs) so the birds are not in any danger. looking forward to what will happen over the next three to four weeks.

Will try to take a photo in next few days
