We Named it Lucky

by tonya
(sacramento, ca, u.s.a)

Just this morning, my manager's cat had found a baby brown bird, possibly a sparrow, but the size a of full grown finch in our tree.

My husband noticed the cat had it in it's mouth so he took the baby bird and put it in a cage.

It seems to be comfortable in the cage and looks healthy. It's eating seed, which is a good sign.

We have an African Ring Neck Dove but we keep both birds seperate.

If it weren't for my husband, the lil' guy would be cat food. Yes he's keeping it, but we don't know if it's male or female.
