Thrasher & Blue Jay

Leave Me Alone...

Leave Me Alone...

Poor Thrasher was just trying to get a drink...Along comes a Blue Jay.

The Blue Jay just started yelling and making noises trying to make the Thrasher go away. The Blue Jay didn't want to share with anyone.

The Thrasher just held his ground and stayed right where he was. He wasn't moving for anyone....Good for him...

Thrasher and Blue Jay
by: Carrol

I'm outside everyday, so I think the birds are used to me by now, haven't been pecked yet. I think I would probably laugh if I got pecked. I have had them buzz my head. Thanks for looking. Carrol

Brown Thrasher Fact
by: Anonymous

The Brown Thrasher is no bully, they have been known to peck a human and draw blood if you get too close to their nest. Interesting picture of the two together.
