Still Hungry

Still Hungry

After putting up a birdhouse, I was glad to see the chickadee's decided to make it their home.

After waiting and watching for a couple of weeks, I could hear the sounds of the little babies. Everyday I would sit and watch the mom and dad take turns feeding the babies.

I watched all four babies take their first flight and sad to see them leave. But they still come around everyday and eat, I count them to make sure they are all there. Boy, I didn't realize how fast they grow up...

Great Chickadee
by: Gene

Wow, what a great photo of a Black-capped Chickadee. I get asked all the time whether Chickadees use bird houses or not.

Well folks, here's your answer. Thanks for sharing.
