I first purchased a house with 12 units 1 1/2 yrs ago. I saw a male and female explore the unit for a few days and then they left and never returned.

This year I switched to the 9 in. gourds. Good move on my part as it is to their liking and they are just having a field day singing and going through their swooping patterns.

A male and female did set up house keeping and are
now in the process of raising a family. This morning I saw 5 adults on top of the housing, just having a merry time.

My neighbors are even enjoying the martins.
