My King-Junior

This isn't my bird, it's my friends. Mine looks similar though.

This isn't my bird, it's my friends. Mine looks similar though.

As I was walking down my street with my friends, we saw a baby bird on the ground. It looked helpless, plus, there was no nest in site for at least another half of a mile. So I picked it up and took it home.

As we were walking home the bird's feathers on it's head were in the shape of a crown. We decided to call him, King-Junior. King-Junior wasn't much of a talker, but when he wants food, he peeps.

As we arrived at home, I asked my mom if we could keep him for a little bit. I looked at her with puppy eyes and showed her the bird. She finally agreed and we put it in a small enough but also big enough cage for him. King-Junior sleeps most of the day and is very playful. Sometimes you might even see him smile. :-)

King-Junior, when we got him, I'd say was about 2-4 days old. He had all his feathers, so yeah. I am still trying to find out what kind of bird he is. I think he might be a sparrow. I really want to know. He is somewhat of a flyer, but he can only fly 6-8 inches off the ground and can only fly for about 13 seconds.

He's one of the sweetest bird I know and he actually listens to commands. If you say to stop peeping, he will. He also sits still when you hold him. :-)

He also likes other birds. He will peep when he hears other ones. Isn't that cute? He loves to play too. Sometimes, you'll see him chase his tail! LOL!
