Birds Need Water All Year
Heated Bird Baths

My Hatchlings

I think birds are awesome and I wanted to see more of them in our yard so I put up a bird house with my parents, and within a couple days a young tree sparrow couple moved in.

But sadly a cat got too close to them by our roof and the birds abandoned the house.

I checked inside to make sure nothing was inside of the nest and there was two little white eggs.

I'm used to raising chicken chicks so I threw their eggs into the incubator and several days later I had two little sparrows in the incubator.

I couldn't find any rescue centers to take them, on account they were stuffed full of animals, so I decided to care for them.

I went to a local feed store whose owner has experience with raising birds and got a few pointers and some formula to feed them.

Currently I feed them every 15-25 minutes and they're doing great. I expect they are healthy because they eat a lot and poop a lot.
