My Bluebird Alarm Clock

I was sitting on my couch in my den when a small female bluebird knocked three times on my window.
I got to thinking, and knew I had not filled the bird feeders in a while, so I got up and went outside and filled all of them and came back in and sat down.
A few minutes later, the same bird came and knocked two times. I just figured that it was saying Thank-you.
I wasn't sure what kind of bird it was at first. So for the next few days I got out my bird books and started looking for this one.
After looking in my books for several days, I finally decided it was a bluebird. It's eyes were very distinct. I didn't see much blue, as I was looking mostly at it's underside. Most books give pictures of the male and not the female.
Let me tell you of the first time I saw them in my yard. A small child was visiting and I had just received this bird house, so I asked her if she would like to help me put it up, and of course she was delighted.
We found a spot in the center of my back yard away from all trees and bushes. We dug a whole and put the post down in the ground.
The house was about 6 feet above ground. We had no sooner got up to my deck when we saw a beautiful bluebird go in and check it out. Needless to say, He set up housekeeping and returns every year.
Now about that alarm.... Every morning between 6 and 8 this little bird pecks on my bedroom window and wakes me up.
As I head to the den, he then pecks on my den window. My husband just recently told me that I have the strangest little alarm clock that he has ever heard.
