Mom Robin Bird Died

I have watched the Robins build their nest, lay the eggs and woke up to babies one morning. They built their nest just below my second floor window so you can see them.

On Friday morning I woke up to the mom dead on the grass. I was devastated. I think the neighbors cat got her.

I called several places to find out what to do as I feared they would starve to death. After hearing several people tell me that's nature and they most likely would die I reached a woman at a wild bird center in Utah that said the dad would take care of them and not to go near them.

She was very compassionate and really cared. That afternoon I saw the dad up feeding the babies and for the past two days he has stayed real close.

I am heart broken over the mom but happy to see the babies taken care of.
