Found What I Think Is A Sparrow

I'm in the mairne corps curently deployed 2 iraq and I found a baby bird lying on a bench in the shower room.

I put it outside and waited a few hours before i actually picked it up and put it in a cardboard box.

I wasn't sure if this was the right thing to do but I couldn't just leave it there 2 bake in the sun. I'm not sure how to take care of it exactly but when I was younger my older sister use 2 save fallen birds in our back yard all the time.

I'm going 2 give it water from an eye droper and feed it small bugs and fruit until I can get the animal care to save it for me.

Well gotta go feed it now bye and thanks for reading!

Not whole bugs!

I hope you crush those bugs real good before giving it to baby. I had a wild baby bird and fed it worms. Big unfortunate mistake, it was only after this horrific incident of the baby birds death that I found out that Mama bird regurgitates the food before giving it to baby.
