Doves in Palm Tree

We live in our motor home and came to Yuma Az for the winter. After setting up in our site and settling in few days we noticed a mourning Dove.
She flew many times about our tree. I think she is a very brave as we have three dashounds out front by our door and her Palm tree is real close and not over eight feet tall.
We watched as the pair build their nest on a lower branch. Then she sat and sat I felt so sorry for her as the hot sun hit her every afternoon.
I went to the computer and searched to find information about nesting habits of Doves, the information I found was a great, as in a RV park there are people out walking and I was so afraid someone would find her.
I noticed several people taking a peek in the tree. One day I watched as a lady held her cat up to see the bird, and I was ready to go defend our nest.
Now the hatching came and we have seen them in the nest now mom fly's away and leaves them alone for a while but one of the parents is always close by.
The wind blows here in Yuma and creates a stout breeze as we watch the nest and keep check that no one blows out.
Soon the two little guys will fly away. We have had a rich rewarding experience watching this nesting.
