Cat Food Supplement

My cat managed to located a baby starling and 3 baby blue jays all on the same day. In both cases the cat had the birds in its mouth or was sitting on the starling.
After securing the cat back in the house I went to check on the baby starling which did not seem to have parents nearby.
Its eyes had been shut, it was lying fully on the ground and I thought it was badly injured. To my surprise it had managed to disappear within the 40 minutes I went into the house to get supplies, secure killer cat, etc.
The blue jays had to be moved since they were also fine but sitting int the middle of the street. After placing them on a low tree in a empty lot the parent birds took over checking on them.
The real clue was to listen to the screams of the adult blue jays. Each time they told me where my cat (and later the neighbors) were sitting.
This site really helped to know that I only had to keep the cats in for the weekend to give those bird babies a fighting chance. Thanks!!
