Baby Bird Thrown in Dumpster!

Okay so here's a story about a bird [baby] that was foud in the ceiling of our church.

We rescued it and took care of it! Well here's the shocking news... our youth minister threw it in the dumpster and told us that it wasn't going to live!

Me, Jenna Peace, wanted to keep the baby bird but, he said that I could'nt have it and threw it in the dumpster!

How very un-christian! your minister should be deeply ashamed. I have raised 2 robins a blackbird and now a killdeer seems to be orphaned. shouldn't we look out for ALL god's creatures (Well maybe not some humans) but these tiny animals have more of a right to this planet than we do. I would love to have a little face to face with your youth minister and throw him in a dumpster. Keep up the faith and don't let man's evil ways keep you from doing what is right and just. Love all animals-even the Holier than thou ministers who lead fake lives!!!! I Hate Posers

My day started with joy because of the birth of a mourning dove while yours ended in tears. Who can explain such a terrible act? Be proud that you could cry for that baby bird and that your not the kind of person that would do such a terrible act. Speak for that baby bird so that this person will have to answer for his actions. I'm sorry you had to go through that today. Lynn

I find it astonishing that some people can call themselves a Christian. Doesn't our love extend to All of God's creatures? The minister could have at least given you the chance to save the little bird. Didn't the Bible say something about God watching over the sparrows?

I have a friend who has raised a quail as a pet and taught it to poo on a newspaper in her home. She feeds it tiny bits of lettuce. Nothing is impossible with love and a little knowledge.
